We were quickly checked in and were assigned room 229. Interestingly, the hallway leading to our room is separated into three segments, two of them are interior, and one (the middle segment) is exterior. Our room was at the far end on the left side, so it was a room accessible from an interior corridor.
The exterior segment overlooked the pool.
So we walked along the hallway to the far end to reach room 229 on the left side.
Immediately after entering the room the bathroom was on the left side, while a short way led to the bedroom itself. The king bed faced a mirror and a small cabinet with a flatscreen tv on top. On the far right there was a desk beside the window.
The bed was on the left side and in the far left corner was a comfortable chair.
The bathroom was in a typical manner with a toilet, a tub with shower, and a single sink with a large mirror and enough counter space for us to spread out our own toiletries and stuff. The hairdryer was mounted on the wall and, luckily, worked.
Nicely folded towels
Bath tub with shower
Single vanity and hairdryer
This Comfort Inn did not have the charm of those properties in Oakhurst or in Mariposa, but it was comfortable enough and conveniently located between a Subway and a Denny’s, and of course a couple gas stations.
We did not make use of the complimentary breakfast but went instead to the nearby Denny’s restaurant on one morning, and to the Subway the other morning.
